This is the Monday following Memorial Day, so eight weeks ago!

More summer fun

I have been to the pool more often this year in part, because Callie can go into the pool without my being in there with her, and I can take Ethan out and sit on a chair if he poops out, and Ethan is much more inclined to listen to my instructions? It has been so much fun to just pack up and head to the pool, I love being out in the sun and watching the kids have so much fun, they have both been so adventurous this year especially my little Ethan, he will just follow his sister around and do whatever she's doing. I LOVE the summer.

Planting a "Salty" tree

I came out the front door to find Ethan digging up dirt (also hitting my plants!) when I asked him what he was doing he said "I'm planting a Salty, (a Thomas the Tank Engine train) so I can get more Salty's"! BRILLIANT! We planted a one dollar bill there as well, what the heck?

A girl and her dog

Latte slept right on top of Callie last night! Latte has done much better in the sleeping department since we let her; albeit still on a leash, sleep in one of the kids' rooms. I couldn't resist taking the picture last night, even though it did wake up the dog. :)
